Veronika Böhmová (*1985)

Veronika Böhmova wurde in einer Musikerfamilie im Jahre 1985 in Budweis in Südböhmen geboren. Mit dem Klavierunterricht hat sie bereits mit fünf Jahren in ihrer Heimatstadt bei Frau Prof. Marie Šimková Kotrčová begonnen. Die Studienjahre verbrachte sie sowohl bei Herrn Prof. Arkadi Zenzipér an der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden als auch bei Herrn Prof. Ivan Klánský an der Hochschule für Musik in Prag. Sie wurde mehrmals in internationalen Wettbewerben ausgezeichnet, so zum Beispiel beim Anton G. Rubinstein Wettbeverb 2012 in Dresden (2. Preis), Rotary Club Competition 2011 (1. Preis), Queen Elizabeth Competition 2010 Brussel (Semifinalistin), Maria Canals Competition 2007 (2. Preis). Sie nimt regelmäßig an vielen Meisterkursen teil, so etwa bei Klaus Hellwig, David Lively, Michel Béroff, Stefan Sheja, Avedis Kouyoumjian, u.a. . Im Jahre 2013 hat sie in Prag mit dem welbekannten Klaviersolisten Lang Lang zusammengearbeitet. Im Jahre 2014 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes CD-Debut bei Supraphon mit Werken von Strawinsky und Prokofjev. Seit September 2015 unterrichtet sie als jüngste Professorin am Konzervatorium in Prag. Im März 2016 debutierte sie mit La Valse von Maurice Ravel in New York im berühmten Konzertsaal Carnegie Hall. Aufgrund dieser Erfolge konzertiert Veronika regelmäßig in Österreich, Deutschland, Tschechien (Prague Spring, Prague Autumn), Bulgarien, Slowenien, Belgien, Italien, Frankreich, USA, Mexiko, Japan, China und in der Schweiz..
